Edna Rose Lehman Williams was born on May 19, 1919, in Buhl, Idaho, to Henry and Iva Lehman, the first of four children. At ten years of age Edna was bap zed by the pastor of the Buhl Baptist Church. She gave her heart to Jesus, and from that me on she tried to live a life that pleased him, with assurance of his forgiveness. Edna graduated from Lin eld College in 1941 with a Bachelor of Science degree in home economics and a minor in business administration. In June 1941, she married Kenneth Williams in Buhl, Idaho. Two children were born to Kenneth and Edna—Margaret-Rose and Daryl Kenneth. Margaret-Rose died in 1988.

During their 65 years of marriage, Edna worked as a secretary in many different business and professional organizations. Her longest tenure was as secretary for dean of students and registrar at George Fox College (now University).

Edna is survived by her son, Daryl (Stacey) Williams; son-in-law, Mauri (Sherry) Macy; grandchildren—Peter (Linsey) Macy, John (Erin) Macy, John Williams, Laura Jane (Matt) Randall, Derin (Andra) Williams; and nine great-grandchildren. Granddaughter Rachel Macy died in 2015.
