Women's Bible Fellowship

We are now offering an evening group (WBFpm) at 7pm on Wednesdays in Barclay C.

Contact Aj Schwanz or Michelle Akins for more information.

The winter semester of WBF begins January 5. Registration forms can be turned in to the NFC office at any time. Study materials can be purchased January 5 in the NFC social hall. Cost for the workbook in either study is $7.

Participants will choose to study Tim Keller's Gospel in Life or Margaret Feinberg's The Sacred Echo.

GOSPEL IN LIFE:
Join author and pastor Timothy Keller in an eight-week video-based study of the gospel and how to live it out in everyday life. In week one you and your group will study the city, your home now, the world that is. Week eight closes with the theme of the eternal city, your heavenly home, the world that is to come. In between you'll learn how the gospel can change your heart, your community, and how you live in this world.

THE SACRED ECHO:
Don't Listen For the Voice of God. Listen for His Echo.' When God really wants to get your attention, he doesn't just say something once. He echoes. He speaks through a Sunday sermon, a chance conversation with a friend the next day, even a random email. The same theme, idea, impression, or lesson will repeat itself in surprising and unexpected ways until you realize that maybe, just maybe, God is at work. According to author Margaret Feinberg, the repetitive nature of a sacred echo gives us confidence that God really is prompting, guiding, or leading. The sacred echo challenges us to prayerfully consider how God is at work in our life as well as in the lives of those around us. The sacred echo is an invitation to spiritual awakening. Margaret writes, 'I want a relationship with God where prayer is as natural as breathing. If God is the one in whom we are to live and move and have our being, then I want my every inhale infused with his presence, my every exhale an extension of his love.'

Only women who were not signed up for the fall semester of WBF need to register.
